ARTE warns against fraudulent messages regarding the Digital Mobile Key

The Agency for the Technological Reform of the State warned of fraudulent SMS messages impersonating the Digital Mobile Key to trick recipients into revealing personal data, passwords, or authentication codes. ARTE stated that it never requests personal or bank data via text message, email, or phone, and urged citizens not to click on links in suspicious messages. Anyone with questions can contact the ARTE Citizen Line at 210 489 010 or 300 003 990 on weekdays between 09:00 and 18:00.

Why it matters

If you receive text messages claiming to be about your Digital Mobile Key asking you to click a link or confirm personal details, do not click or share information, as this is an active phishing scam targeting public service users.
