Arouca wildfire reduced to one active front as hundreds remain deployed

The major fire in Arouca, which began Monday night, has been reduced to one active front near Covelo de Paivó as of Thursday morning. Emergency operations involving nearly 600 personnel continue, while separate fires in Boticas and Chaves remain active, and another in Alijó has been brought under control.
