António José Seguro promulgates the Foreigners Law
The President of the Republic has signed the new Foreigners and Asylum Law into law, following a ruling by the Constitutional Court that declared the legislation constitutional. The law, which had been under preventive review, concerns asylum and the return of foreign citizens.
