Algarve waste: Minister agrees to study alternative to incineration
The environmental association Zero proposed a mechanical and biological waste treatment facility for the Algarve region, which it claims could be operational within three years at half the cost of the incineration plant currently proposed by the Ministry of Environment. The Minister has agreed to study this alternative proposal.
Why it matters
