€46 million plan revives Albufeira’s long-awaited flood tunnel

The Environment and Energy Minister announced that the Portuguese Environment Agency (APA) will lead the construction of a 1.5-kilometre drainage tunnel in Albufeira, budgeted at €33 million. This project, which remains subject to an environmental impact assessment, is part of a broader €46 million investment package for the area that also includes €16 million for coastal protection works.
