Without mobile phones, students are more attentive and participative. But study reveals resistance to the ban and dependence on the device
A study conducted in Oeiras schools covering 3,427 students found that mobile phone bans lead to increased classroom participation, better social interaction during breaks, and stable or improved grades. However, the report notes growing student resistance to the rules and emotional dependence on devices, particularly as students reach the 5th grade and beyond.
