Coimbra Law Faculty maintains extra time policy for students with specific educational needs

The Faculty of Law at the University of Coimbra (FDUC) will maintain its decision to cap extra exam time for students with specific educational needs at 30 minutes. This measure, which has been in effect since June 2026, was adopted to manage the unsustainable growth in requests for accommodations and ensure the credibility and equity of assessments.

Cascais Secondary School resumes activities after air quality tests

Classes resumed at Escola Secundária de Cascais following an air quality report by the Welding and Quality Institute (ISQ), which found that breathable fiber concentrations across all samples were well below regulatory limits. The school board decided to restart teaching and assessments, after abatement work involving asbestos-cement sheets had been suspended the previous Friday following an inspection by the Authority for Working Conditions (ACT).
