Via Expresso in northern Madeira closed to traffic due to landslide

A section of the Via Expresso between São Vicente and Porto Moniz has been closed indefinitely following a rockfall near the Ladeira da Vinha tunnel this Wednesday. Regional authorities have dispatched maintenance crews to assess the slope, but no reopening date has been provided.
