Train circulation on the Beira Baixa Line in Vila Nova da Barquinha resumed at 04:00 today, following an interruption caused by a collision between a car and a train on Thursday night. The accident, which resulted in the death of the car's driver, required the transfer of 117 passengers to Abrantes.
