Temperatures up to 38 degrees put 15 districts under yellow warning
IPMA has issued yellow warnings for high temperatures across 15 districts, with the warning ending today at 18:00 for the mainland and continuing until tomorrow for Madeira. Additionally, over 50 municipalities across the country are currently at maximum risk for rural wildfires.
Why it mattersIf you are in one of the 15 districts under warning, take precautions against the heat today; if you are in or near one of the 50 municipalities at maximum wildfire risk, exercise extreme caution and avoid any activities that could spark a fire.
