Temperatures to exceed 40ºC; dangers, warnings and recommendations to keep in mind in the coming days

The IPMA forecasts temperatures above 40ºC for the coming days, particularly in the interior North and Centre regions, with relative humidity below 30%. The ANEPC warns of high to maximum forest fire risk and, consequently, has banned burning activities (extensive burns and piles), using fire for cooking in rural areas, and the use of motorized clearing machinery (like brush cutters) in areas where the fire risk is classified as Very High or Maximum.
