State Budget 2027: Anecra expresses disappointment with proposal and calls for tax reform and renewal incentives

The National Association of Motor Trade and Repair Companies (Anecra) criticized the 2027 State Budget proposal, describing it as insufficient for the automotive sector. The association is calling for a robust vehicle scrapping program to address the aging national car fleet and is urging a structural reform of automotive taxation, specifically the progressive elimination of the Vehicle Tax (ISV) and an update to the Single Circulation Tax (IUC) to favor vehicle usage over acquisition.
