The GNR has issued a warning regarding a new WhatsApp scam where perpetrators pose as people requesting votes for a child's competition. To protect your device and personal information, the police advise users not to click on the shared links, and specifically warn against sharing any verification or QR codes that may appear on redirected websites.
The Assembly of the Republic has approved the regulations for the Transparency Register of Interest Representation (RTRI), requiring that lobbyists and interest representatives register and disclose meetings or interactions with parliamentary bodies and deputies. Representatives must now be registered in the RTRI to request hearings, and all interactions must be logged via a dedicated digital platform, including the date, participants, the entity represented, and the meeting's objective.
The government published a decree on Wednesday, 28 October, launching a 12-month pilot project that allows specialist nurses in maternal and obstetric health to monitor low-risk pregnancies in primary care. Starting Thursday, 29 October, these nurses can perform consultations, order diagnostic exams, and manage vaccinations and supplementation to address shortages of family doctors.
