Regulator issues alert regarding online scams

The communications regulator, ANACOM, issued security recommendations for digital consumers, advising caution against emails, SMS, or calls that create a false sense of urgency or demand immediate payments. Users are advised to avoid clicking unsolicited links, to use distinct and strong passwords, to enable two-factor authentication, and to ensure their software and devices are kept up to date.
