Psychologists report unpaid fees for 'psychologist vouchers' and delays in youth mental health program

Nearly 500 psychologists have denounced ongoing payment delays for consultations provided under the government's youth voucher program, which launched on 2 July. Professionals report receiving zero payments despite a 90-day settlement window, while patients are experiencing significant delays in receiving follow-up vouchers, leading to treatment interruptions for young people aged 12 to 35.
