Portugal rents rise again
The national median rent reached €17.20 per square metre at the end of October 2026, marking a 1% monthly increase. While rental price growth slowed compared to September, most district capitals saw year-on-year increases, with Lisbon remaining the most expensive at €23.80 per square metre and Beja recording the highest annual growth across districts at 29.3%.
