Organization warns of the risk of children and youth with Long Covid losing their educational path

The Millions Missing Alliance warns that a lack of coordinated support between the health, education, and social protection systems in Portugal risks causing children and young people with Long Covid to drop out of school. While the European Commission issued recommendations in September for protecting students with post-viral conditions, the association notes that Long Covid remains largely invisible, underdiagnosed, and lacks a structured national response or registry in Portugal.
