Municipalities to get a credit line to develop land for construction

The government is negotiating a credit line with the European Investment Bank (EIB) to help municipalities fund land urbanisation for housing construction. This initiative is part of the government's strategy to increase housing supply by providing municipalities with better loan conditions to prepare land for either public or private development. The proposal is included within the broader 2027 State Budget discussions, which aim to address housing needs through investment and administrative simplification.
