Minister insists labour law revision is inevitable even if by another government

Labour Minister Rosário Palma Ramalho stated during a parliamentary hearing on the 2027 State Budget that a reform of labour legislation is inevitable because current rules are unsuited to the digital era, conceding it could fall to another government. She also called for a cross-party regime pact regarding Social Security reform and confirmed plans to transpose European directives on digital platforms and wage transparency.
