Strikes
Metro Sul do Tejo services limited by strike for second consecutive day
The 24-hour strike continues today, Wednesday 21 October, with services limited to the 07:00–09:00 and 17:00–19:00 windows on line 3 (Cacilhas/Universidade). Starting tomorrow, 22 October, through 27 October, the strike will take the form of stoppages during the last two hours of every work shift, with the same limited service windows on line 3 remaining in effect.
Why it matters
If you commute using Metro Sul do Tejo in Almada or Seixal, be prepared for significant disruptions through 27 October, as only line 3 will operate during limited peak hours (07:00–09:00 and 17:00–19:00); line 2 passengers must transfer at the 'Bento Gonçalves' stop to continue their journey via other lines.CNN PortugalRead original ↗
