Menzies Aviation has been awarded the seven-year 'handling' service licenses for the airports in Lisbon, Porto, and Faro. The company, which already operates in Madeira, acquired the full capital of the former Groundforce (SPdH) in June 2026 and provides services for over 100,000 aircraft rotations annually in Portugal.

The Parliament holds a debate on the 2027 State Budget (OE2027) on Tuesday 27 October and Wednesday 28 October, with approval guaranteed by the PS party's abstention.
