Major Algarve Road to undergo €1.6 million renovation

A €1.6 million renovation project on Rua Infante de Sagres in Parchal, Lagoa, is set to begin on 12 October and will take approximately 12 months to complete. The works include replacing the water supply, sewage, and rainwater drainage networks, burying telecommunications and electricity cables, lowering the road level, and installing new pavements and road surfaces. Lagoa Council has warned that the year-long construction will cause disruption for local residents, businesses, and drivers.
