Luís Neves assumes political responsibility for police interventions

The Minister of Internal Administration stated in Parliament that while the police maintain total technical and operational autonomy during protests and camp-outs, the political responsibility for such actions lies with him and his government team. He reiterated that his political position is that unauthorized camps in Lisbon and Porto must end, clarifying that he coordinates with the PSP but does not direct specific tactical police operations.
