Lisbon City Council approves suspension of shared e-scooter system
The Lisbon City Council approved a proposal on Wednesday, 21 October 2026, to suspend shared electric scooters across the city, requiring operators to remove all vehicles within 60 days. The council will draft a new municipal regulation for soft mobility to be presented in 2027.
Why it matters
