Large wildfire in Proença-a-Nova enters resolution phase
The wildfire that broke out on Monday at 19:30 in Atalaia, Proença-a-Nova, was declared in resolution at 12:15 on Tuesday. Resources will remain on-site for cleanup and surveillance, while a separate, larger wildfire in Alvito da Beira, also in Proença-a-Nova, remains active with 620 personnel deployed and officials expecting potential worsening conditions due to the weather.
