Heat returns in force: temperatures may rise up to 12 degrees and reach 42°C
Mainland Portugal is preparing for a sharp rise in temperatures starting Wednesday, September 2nd, with maximums between 40 and 42 degrees forecast for the Tagus Valley (Vale do Tejo), Beira Baixa, and Alentejo, according to IPMA.
