Green Rail Pass in Lisbon and Porto: find out how much you can save by taking the train
Starting in the third week of September (specifically between September 16 and 22), the 20-euro monthly Green Rail Pass (PFV) will expand to include CP urban train services in Lisbon (including Fertagus lines) and Porto. The pass allows unlimited travel on CP trains—excluding Alfa Pendular and Intercidades first class—and can be purchased for 30, 60, or 90-day periods.
Why it mattersIf you commute by train in the Lisbon or Porto metropolitan areas, you can potentially reduce your monthly travel costs to 20 euros starting in mid-September.
