Government increases ISP tax discount for diesel and gasoline
The government is increasing the extraordinary tax (ISP) discount on fuels starting next week to mitigate rising international prices. Despite the discount, diesel is estimated to rise by 3.5 cents and gasoline by 2.5 cents per litre at the pump.
Why it mattersIf you drive, you should expect to pay more at the pump starting next week, as the government's tax adjustment will not fully offset the estimated market price increases.
