Government fuel measures are insufficient, say ANTRAM and CAP. Consumers will foot the bill
The transport association (ANTRAM) and the farmers' confederation (CAP) state that current government support measures are insufficient to mitigate rising fuel costs. Both sectors warn that because businesses are facing record costs, they will have to pass these increases on to consumers in the form of higher prices for goods and transport, with agriculture costs expected to rise further starting in October.
