Medicinal distributors demand support to minimize fuel costs
The Pharmaceutical Distributors Association (ADIFA) is calling on the government to provide tax benefits on fuel, toll exemptions, and tax breaks for their delivery fleet, estimating that current fuel prices represent an additional 4 million euros in annual operating costs. The association warns that as their sector is price-regulated, they cannot pass these costs to the end consumer, which threatens the sustainability of the supply chain and could eventually jeopardize medicine deliveries to pharmacies.
