Government approved law tailored to the minister

The new Legal Regime for Urban Rehabilitation reduces the deadline for the Public Prosecutor or citizens to challenge municipal urban planning decisions from 10 years to three. This change effectively prevents the legal contestation of several past planning decisions made by the current Minister of Infrastructure and Housing, Miguel Pinto Luz, during his tenure as vice-president of Cascais City Council.
