Fuel prices return to increases next week
Fuel prices are expected to rise starting Monday, August 17, with diesel increasing by approximately 8 cents per liter and gasoline by 7.5 cents. The government partially offset the larger market-driven increases by adjusting ISP tax rates.
Why it mattersIf you drive, you should expect to pay about 8 cents more per liter for diesel and 7.5 cents more for gasoline starting Monday; filling up at hypermarket or 'low-cost' stations may help mitigate these costs.
