Free land registration on BUPi has ended: What now?

The period for free registration of rustic and mixed properties in the BUPi system, which covered almost four million plots north of the Tagus and in Madeira, has concluded. Owners who missed the deadline can still register their land, but they will now incur standard costs associated with the process.

Why it mattersIf you own rural or mixed property in the affected regions and have not yet registered it with BUPi, you must now pay to complete the process, which is necessary to clarify property boundaries and legal ownership.

62 teachers with invalid criminal records detected

Justice system orders detention and expulsion of six migrants caught by the GNR

A court in Santiago do Cacém has ordered the detention and expulsion of six foreign nationals found in illegal status during a GNR inspection operation. These individuals, ranging from 20 to 47 years old and including citizens of India, Bangladesh, Brazil, and Colombia, will remain in detention until their deportation is completed.
