62 teachers with invalid criminal records detected
The Ministry of Education has identified 62 teachers currently in service whose criminal records are legally incompatible with working with minors, following the implementation of a new automated verification system. These teachers have been provisionally suspended from their duties and instructed not to attend their schools while the Inspectorate-General of Education and Science (IGEC) conducts individual case reviews.
