European Union to apply new fee to non-EU online purchases

Starting in November, a new customs processing fee will apply to online purchases made on platforms located outside the European Union, such as Shein or Temu. This fee, aimed at covering the costs of security checks on low-value parcels, is separate from the three-euro fixed fee currently in place for customs processing.
