Estremoz: Four deaths in nursing home where Influenza A was detected

An Influenza A outbreak was identified at the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Veiros nursing home in Estremoz, with 25 residents showing symptoms. Four residents aged 89-95 have died since Sunday, though laboratory confirmation of Influenza A was only positive in one of the two deaths that occurred at the hospital; the two who died at the facility showed no prior symptoms.
