Electricity bill in the regulated market rises 2.7% starting this Thursday

Electricity tariffs for regulated market customers increase by an average of 2.7% starting Thursday, October 1, 2026. For a household with 3.45 kVA power, the monthly bill increases by 0.95 euros, while a household with 6.9 kVA sees an increase of 2.70 euros. The regulator ERSE attributes the hike to higher electricity acquisition costs driven by rising natural gas prices due to international geopolitical tensions.
