Douro: Government makes 12 million euros available to winegrowers who left grapes unharvested
The government has launched a 12-million-euro non-reimbursable support scheme for Douro winegrowers who were unable to sell their production and left grapes on the vines during the 2026/2027 season. Applications must be submitted via the IVDP online platform by Monday, October 12, 2026. Beneficiaries must refrain from harvesting or disposing of the uncollected grapes until the payment is received, and if applications exceed the total budget, payments will be reduced proportionally.
