Diesel price falls 6.3 cents in the largest drop in the last month
From Monday, August 31, diesel prices will decrease by 6.3 cents per liter, while 95-octane petrol will increase by 1.5 cents. With these adjustments, the average price for diesel will be approximately 1.93 euros per liter, and 95-octane petrol will be 2.001 euros per liter.
Why it mattersIf you drive a diesel vehicle, filling a 50-liter tank will cost between 3.15 and 7.05 euros less than last week, whereas petrol users will face higher costs as prices rise for the second consecutive week.
