CP train bar staff begin indefinite strike on Monday
Workers in the bars of CP's long-distance trains (Alfa Pendular and Intercidades) are starting an indefinite strike on Monday, August 31, 2026. The action, called by the hotel and catering union, is in response to a labour dispute with the service operator Itau over meal allowances, salary updates, and working conditions.
