Contact Form: Foreign babies or minors born in Portugal
AIMA has launched an online contact form (contactenos.aima.gov.pt) for parents to request a residency permit appointment for foreign children born in Portugal under Article 124 of the Foreigners Law. Applicants must submit the child's Portuguese birth certificate, the parents' passports, and valid residence permits. Requests must be filed within six months of the child's birth registration.
Why it mattersIf you are a foreign resident with a child born in Portugal, you can now use this specific online form to secure their residency permit appointment, provided you do so within six months of their birth registration.
