Civil Protection warns of hot and dry weather in Madeira in the coming days
The Madeira Regional Civil Protection Service has issued a warning for hot and dry weather affecting the archipelago this Thursday, September 24, and Friday, September 25, due to an air mass from the east. Temperatures are expected to decrease starting Saturday, September 26, as wind patterns shift to the west, bringing higher humidity.
Why it mattersIf you are in Madeira, expect high temperatures through Friday, September 25, and take precautions against dehydration, heatstroke, and wildfire risk; note that open-air fires and agricultural burning are prohibited across the region until October 31.
