Bridge works force traffic closure on the IC35 on Thursday

Traffic on the bridge over the Douro River at Entre-os-Rios will be fully closed in the direction of Castelo de Paiva to Penafiel this Thursday, August 27, 2026. The closure is scheduled from 08:00 to 18:00, with traffic diverted via the Olival exit in Reguenga/Sardoura to the EN108.

Why it mattersIf you drive between Castelo de Paiva and Penafiel, you must use the marked alternative route through Olival during these hours, which will likely cause delays.
