Beekeepers have until September 30 to declare apiaries

All beekeepers must declare their apiary stock between September 1 and September 30, 2026, as required by the Directorate-General for Food and Veterinary Affairs (DGAV). Declarations can be made via the IFAP portal, at DGAV regional services, or through partner organizations.

Why it mattersIf you keep bees, you have a mandatory legal deadline to declare your colonies by September 30; failing to do so could impact your compliance and access to agricultural services.
