Bathing advised against at four Espinho beaches due to microbiological contamination

The Portuguese Environment Agency (APA) has advised against bathing at Baía, Seca, Rua 37, and Frente Azul beaches in the Espinho municipality due to high levels of E. coli and intestinal enterococci detected on Thursday, 2026-08-27.
