Albuquerque says TAP public service for the regions will continue to be ensured
The Portuguese government has selected the Lufthansa group for the partial privatization of TAP, acquiring up to 49.9% of the capital for 1.2 billion euros. The Prime Minister indicated a plan for the full privatization of the airline by 2028. The President of the Regional Government of Madeira stated that public service obligations for the autonomous regions remain guaranteed within the tender terms and confirmed by the bidding groups.
