AIMA will have 135 million euros in 2027 and remains a significant contributor to state revenues
The 2027 State Budget allocates 135 million euros to AIMA, a 38.6% increase over the 97.4 million euros projected for 2026. Of this, 108 million is earmarked for regulating immigration, including processing pending residence permits and family reunifications, 22 million for immigrant integration programs, and 5 million for attracting qualified talent. The agency remains a primary source of state revenue through fees, fines, and permit issuance.
