Accountants ask for productivity bonus tax exemption to be unlinked from salary increases

During a parliamentary hearing on the 2027 State Budget proposal, the head of the Association of Certified Accountants (OCC) proposed removing the requirement that companies raise base salaries by at least 4.5% in order for productivity and performance bonuses up to 6% of base pay to be exempt from IRS and social security contributions (TSU). She also called for the removal of the withholding tax requirement on these bonuses and presented other administrative adjustment proposals.
