A week of rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds begins

Starting tomorrow, Sunday, August 23, Portugal will be under the influence of an autumn-like depression, bringing significant precipitation, thunderstorms, and strong winds. The Portuguese Institute for Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) has urged the public to prepare for these adverse weather conditions.

Azores join European project against the Asian hornet
