Works on the EN8-2 in Lourinhã expected to start in November
The national road EN8-2, closed between kilometers 15 and 16 at Casal Lourim since February due to storm-related ground subsidence, is scheduled for repairs beginning between late October and early November. The project, which will involve installing 40 structural pillars to stabilize the road, is expected to take nine months to complete at a total cost of six million euros.
Why it mattersIf you live in or commute through the Lourinhã area, you will continue to face traffic disruptions and have to use alternative municipal routes for at least the next nine months while construction is underway.
